The Season Wraps up at the Cass Lake TOC
The end of year Tournament of Champions, or “TOC”, is by far the most anticipated event of the Minnesota Bass Tour due to it being a 2 day finale that historically factors heavily in ultimately crowning the Team of the Year. Thus was the case at Cass Lake presented by Blackfish Gear.
West” They Said (and records will fall)!
This past Sunday, the Minnesota Bass Tour fished our first tournament on Lake Washington presented by FVP Parts. After 9 seasons, we finally heeded the call to “Go West” if we really wanted to experience a true hawg factory. Let’s just say Washington and adjoining Lake Stella did not disappoint!
White Bear Lake Keeps the Lines Tight
This weekend, the Minnesota Bass Tour fished their second tournament of the season on White Bear Lake, presented by Blackfish Gear! It’s been 5 years since our last event here and anglers were faced with fishing a lake that was 4 feet higher than it was back in 2014. Bass Tour members were also faced with the fun challenge of sorting through a large volume of 14-16 inch bass to try and beat the field.
The MN Bass Tour held our second-ever catch and release tournament on the Chisago chain of lakes this past weekend. While not a customary weigh-in as far as tournaments go, the format drummed up excitement among MN Bass Tour Members who noted this style prevents the unnecessary stress on bass that can occur with the hot summer water temps.
We are here to report that the Chisago chain of lakes are alive and well in their catch and release state and in the end, it was a new team that came out on top, notching their first win ever on the tour!
