Gull Lake TOC Concludes 2018 – Presented by Blackfish Gear

The end of year Tournament of Champions (“TOC”) is the most anticipated event of the MN Bass Tour season due to it being the only 2 day event of the year and as a result, factors heavily in crowning the Blackfish Team of the Year.

Specifically, teams attending the weekend event accumulate Team of the Year points for BOTH days. The end result: an exciting finish as teams charge towards the coveted honor by patterning an outstate body of water.

Lake Vermilion TOC

MN Bass Tour Members gathered at Lake Vermilion for the last tournament of the year on September 9th and 10th. The Tournament of Champions (“TOC”) represents the MN Bass Tour’s final event of the year and is the only two day event of the year.

Our weather was generally stable with sunny and 70 degree days Friday-Sunday and with south winds from 5-10 mph.

As the sunrise faded and the day completed, the total weight of bass caught by all anglers was the highest compared to all previous visits to Lake Minnetonka. However, with the warm skies, calm winds and being the most visited recreational lake in the state – it still made it challenging day for teams. Continue Reading →
