Let’s weigh ’em like the good ol’ days!
Tourney #2 brings us to the familiar and fun waters of Lake Minnetonka presented by Blackfish Gear! We can’t choose the weather but Blackfish’s line up will always keep us comfortable no matter how challenging the weather conditions get during a tournament day. For us in the Tour, it means we can keep focus on bringing in the winning limit while looking and feeling great.
Anglers throughout the state were relieved that the restrictions to social gatherings at lakes loosened to the levels that have been allowed at your local big box stores since March. This means the Minnesota Bass Tour will be resuming it’s typical weigh-in procedures while adhering to proper social distancing rules! Bring on the hawgs!
Kicking off our 10th Season on Koronis!
It’s our 10th season and it’s already been a memorable year for unfortunate reasons outside of the competitive bass fishing world. Time to get our lines wet, don’t ya think? Our first stop of this milestone season is on Lake Koronis presented by Onyx Outdoors!
The Season Wraps up at the Cass Lake TOC
The end of year Tournament of Champions, or “TOC”, is by far the most anticipated event of the Minnesota Bass Tour due to it being a 2 day finale that historically factors heavily in ultimately crowning the Team of the Year. Thus was the case at Cass Lake presented by Blackfish Gear.
Day 1 on Cass Lake TOC is in the Books!
The Minnesota Bass Tour Tournament of Champions on Cass Lake presented by Blackfish Gear has wrapped up for Day 1! Fall has rolled into the north country and the bass were definitely putting on their feedbags as the Tour registered their highest ever total weight of 226.10 lbs!
The Team of the Year Race Ends at Cass!
The conclusion of the Minnesota Bass Tour’s 9th season is on September 7th and 8th with our Tournament of Champions on Cass Lake, presented by Blackfish Gear! Each season we compete on 5 lakes around the greater Twin Cities metro, accumulating points per event, to culminate in this extraordinary two-day tournament format. The result: crowning the eventual Minnesota Bass Tour Team of the Year.
Needless to say, all members agree that this is the most anticipated weekend of the season as it encompasses the four pillars of the MN Bass Tour: camaraderie, education, competition, and fun awards. And a heck of a lot of fun!
