Ending the Season with an Exciting Team of the Year Race!

It’s the grand finale of this year’s MN Bass Tour and the conclusion of our 8th season brings us to Gull Lake located in the Brainerd area! This year’s Tournament of Champions on Gull is presented by Blackfish Gear.

The weekend promises to excite as we have a tie for first place between Roboworm and Last Cast at 54 points. Not far behind is The DD’s (50 pts), and numerous teams in the 40+ point ranges!  With each day counting for points, truly any team has a legitimate shot of taking the Team of the Year race with those winners getting a new Blackfish Rain Gear set and various tackle prizes from Quantum and other manufacturers!!

Even with teams that may be eliminated from Team of the Year considerations, they’ll still have a blast chasing daily big bass awards, winning the cash for the highest 2-day weight and Blackfish Gear apparel, and celebrating the completion of another fun and educational season.

Craguns and the Weekend Plan

The tour has accommodations located on the shore of Gull at Craguns Resort. We are ecstatic to be using their grounds for all the weigh-ins, included dinner buffet, 9 rounds of golf and swimming pool!

We will also continue the fun tradition of the Saturday night grill-out organized by Co-Director Jesse Larson and the subsequent, yet informal, end of season meeting around the campfire.

For those not in the know, we as Directors use the “campfire dialogue” to shape how we will approach the 2019 season, the same way Members have helped shaped the Tour ever since our start in 2011.

This tournament and related awards are made possible by Minnesota Bass Tour Platinum Sponsor Blackfish Gear. We appreciate their support with awards and product for tour members just as they have been with us throughout the season!

It’s the conclusion of the 2018 season with the Gull Lake TOC presented by Blackfish Gear! Stay tuned for the results as we crown this year’s Team of the Year!
